FDI's Fraud Training Programs
The Fraud Discovery Institute's Fraud Training Programs not
only raise the awareness of fraud; they give your management
team and employees the knowledge necessary to spot various
types of financial fraud in both public and private companies.
Whereas most fraud audit and awareness training is downright
boring, FDI uses case studies, multi-media presentations, downloads,
links, and "Pearls of Wisdom" to create an enjoyable
learning experience. Our lessons are presented by accounting
and due diligence experts and are further enhanced by the
revealing stories told by former perpetrators of major frauds.
When combined with field practice (and mentoring provided
by experienced professionals), the learner will be better
prepared to uncover fraud in a variety of settings and entities.
FDI takes compulsory education and makes it a compelling learning
experience.
Among others, the topics currently available are:
- The Psychology of Fraud
- The Methodology of Fraud
- CHECKLIST Program
- Hidden Corporate Debt
- Bank Fraud
- Bank Due Diligence
- Internal Auditing (for both small and large entities)
- External Auditing (including revenue recognition issues
and SPE's)
Boot
Camps
Boot Camps are “down and dirty” seminars designed
to give corporate employees (more specifically underwriters,
credit decision makers, and managers) and those responsible
for making financial decisions key insights into the world
of financial fraud. FDI utilizes a variety of experts (depending
on the audience) that illustrate issues specific to the industry
of the target audience. Using specific real-life experiences
as well as actual case studies from frauds either perpetrated
or uncovered by members of the FDI team, Boot Camps are an
excellent way to educate a large group of employees regarding
financial fraud.
The typical Boot Camp is geared to groups of 25 to 250 individuals
and are priced according to the time and curriculum desired
by the customers. We offer half-day, full-day and two-day
boot camps. We come to the client’s desired location.
