Which one is the best on making trade route? INARA or EDDB?

Tried no shields in hasres site. Asp explorer with paper for hull. Made it out and made 30+mil for everything but diamonds.

Asking about trip to colonia

  • EDDB appears to have finer control over the parameters of your trade route, but Inara might have access to newer/exclusive data, just on the basis of my recent tests. Although I've gone with EDDB in the past, I'm probably going to start using Inara from now on.

  • When i use eddb, they direct me to the same system even i in the different system. I dont know why this happen. Then i use inara. But the data seems 'outdated' (the data last updated 4 hours ago) should i trust inara?

    1614147481

  • Both EDDB and Inara show you how old their data is. Actually, they can't officially get the trade data directly from the Elite Dangerous servers - they relay on us commanders installing a third-party tool on our PCs that synchronise up-to-date trade information with a massive third-party database. If you want up-to-date information, the best way is to fly around a few star systems yourself, scanning the nav beacon/docking at a station in each one, then viewing the resultant market data while in the commodities trade section of station services. The more star systems you nav beacon scan/dock at, the more live trading data you gain access to.

  • Thanks for the info, really helpful

  • ' 9% health left ' lol u r a legend

  • Krait has advantages for range and such, but is a bit hampered by the size of the optional slots ... Python hauls better by 32 64 tons.

  • Yeah just using trading route from eddb

  • I would take out combat optionals, put in a 5A shield, the rest cargo racks, and you're golden

    1614121534

  • Thanks for the advice

  • Wow, congrats Commander. I'll follow you soon.

  • Congrats!

  • Thanks😊

  • Nice! Today I had the option of buying an Anaconda or a Type-9. I want a ship I can take far, far outside the bubble to explore uncharted systems, track down and mine those pristine resource hotspots and land on the surface to collect rare materials, then return home with a cargo hold overflowing with riches. I wisely went with the Type-9.

  • Beware bro, hauling cargo can attract pirates
